Our risk assessments analyses the hazards from biofilm organisms contaminating the dental unit waterlines and the respiratory health risk to both the dental team and patients
This assessment is specifically designed for dental practices where every room with a cold water storage tank is assessed based upon the risk for the presence and proliferation of the Legionella bacteria
What will I receive?
- The practice receives everything they require to be compliant:
- Report of the assessment detailing recommendations going forward
- A schematic drawing of the hot and cold water system
- A written scheme (like a manual), water log sheets and for each new risk assessment they
- FREE digital thermometer
Approximately 30 minutes of training is apart of the feedback process.
Assessment and Certification
Continuous assessment by trainer and certificate will be provided on successful completion of the course
Certificate valid for 1 year.
Point to note
Following the Legionella risk assessment your practice will fulfill the requirements under the Health and Safety Commission’s Code of Legionella bacteria in water systems: Approved code of practice & Guidance (AcoP L8) and be compliant with HTM 01-05.
