Supporting the Grundschule Gambia Project

This year, instead of sending Christmas cards, Connect Dental will be donating money to the Grundschule Gambia Project https://www.facebook.com/groups/519837334821611/

Our Managing Director, Claudia Treweek’s cousin is the Founder and Director of the school. He set up the project in 2014 and funded the vast majority of it, with only a few donations such as old bricks and windows being donated from people in Germany.

In September 2014 the first classroom was completed to offer education for families that are unable to send their children to school. Since then support has grown and lots of people have now sponsored children to offer them an education.

As well as donating money to the project this year, Claudia hopes to go over to Gambia next year to educate the families on oral health.
